Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
This is my Altered Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, it sat too long so I attacked it hehehe!!
I’ll start from the top, I stamped it with Stazon and added highlights in mint green and
aqua with Plaid-Dimensional Fabric Paint to the stamped scrolls ( Stampington &
Company-Wrought Scrolls C8473 ). I also added chipboard lettering, which I
embossed and coated with Plaid-Dimensional Magic. The dragonfly (C Flourish) is
made by alocal compay-Scrap FX, I also embossed it and added the fabric paint to
the wings and also some fabric flowers beneath it as a trail. The band running down
the left hand side is hessian binding , painted with black acrylic paint and a piece of
gloss card stamped tucked within it.The big fabric flower was also painted with acrylic
paint and also embossed and Moon Glow’s-Glitz Spritz sprayed over it. I pulled the silver
backing off the diamente in the center of the flower and added silver holographic and
colored the top of the diamente with lime green and aqua artline texta color.
Inside The Folder
I changed the direction of the Cuttlebug folders to suit this zippable 2 ring binder,
which was very inexpensive. I used 10mm(3/8″) brass plated grommets by Trojan,
and they aslo have a Grommet tool to set them. TIP- make sure if you try this to
have the open end of the pockets facing away from the center ring, so you can
gain easy access to your folders. Each layer is marked from the previous first set.
The last picture shows the Borders set which had a tendency to slip out, I fixed
this problem by cutting a piece of clear binder cover (I have highlighted this,
so it a little easier to see) the same width as the C/Folder (4 1/2″ wide) and the
length is cut at 4 3/4″. Fold at 1 3/4″ and stick the shorter side into the pocket
with tape ( I used redline tape for staying power ). Fold it over and attach some
adhesive Hook & Loop - Velcro. Those little slippery ones
aint’ going anywhere now!!!!

LITTLE PRINCE
This card is simple and sweet. On the top portion I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder
(Bloom Dots) and buffed the Sissix foot (die cut) with some soft blue and stamped Little
Prince (PSX-Pixie Expressions). There is highlighted parts on the embossed design with
some glossy medium (which did not show up in the piccy). I tied the 10mm ribbon into
a soft double knot so I got a bit of bulk to the knot because the width of the ribbon,
I felt it would have have looked odd with small knot.

CUTTLEBUG EMBOSSING
Well this photo did not come out too well, I tried a few different shots
in different light and just could not get the right colour !!!!
It is a pure white card without that creamy tinge. I embossed it with the Cuttlebug
embossing folder - Leafy Branch, and added a few extra leaves using an embossing tool.
I then chalked the raised area leaving 3 leaves uncoloured and sealed it.
I punched some flowers, painted them with metallic paint, and glued some micro
beads in the center of each flower. I also stamped around the outer edge with
Hero Arts- background stripes stamp. I also added some ribbon and a stamped word
window punch from Stampin-Up!

Hi Trina
I’ve seen the bra and nickers before; I’ve even made a set myself. But I’ve never seen them with the shading to make cleavage. It’s that extra touch that really makes a card stand out!
and I love the heart in a pocket/wrap (with the ‘cherish’ tag). I’d like to be able to see bigger images. I think we’re missing out on detail with some of them.
glad I finally got here to have a look
