Polymer Clay

COFFEE TIME

Hello Crafters!!! If you have not guessed it, this is (was!!) a Maccona coffee jar. I
marbled polymer clays and covered the jar up to the lip edge. The beauty with this
jar is 1. it is made of glass 2. the plastic cap on the lid comes off (for easy crafting).
I moulded the Dragonfly on the top of the lid with a gorgoues Krafty Lady mould.
On the wings, I used some rub-ons, touched the dragonfly up with some metallic
paint and of course added the beading (think I went a little overboard there!!!).

PIXIE AND GREEN MAIDEN

I had the wonderful pleasure of sitting in on a workshop with Shirley Dougan a
while ago now, one very talented lady. It was a hoot!!! We made the pixie
pictured above (just love those tootsies!) and also another one which is still naked
( yeh I know another unfinished project!!). I actually want to hand-dye mmm…….
I have a few ideas for the clothes for that one and will post it on here when I have
finished it. The other piece pictured to the right (Green Maiden), I made one
day when my twin brother (David) visited and we were mucking around at the
kitchen bench with my polymer clays. I decided to stamp, shrink and insert
Shrinky Dinks on that one. In size Green Maiden is about
the size of my little pinkie!!
