Welcome to Crafty Treasures.

Hi my name is Petrina… I luv all forms of craft, in fact there are too many to list. Hopefully you will find lots of inspiration while browsing lots of different projects, I have hand crafted. I have been crafting for over 26 years. My main passions are Rubber Stamping, Paper Crafts and Parchment Craft. I have thoroughly enjoyed paper crafting & card making for 14 years, and parchment craft for 13 years. I get such immense pleasure from crafting and find it very and relaxing, therapeutic and exhilarating.

A little bit about me

I am married to my wonderful husband Ross of 21yrs (who supports me and my craft addiction 100%), we have 2 gorgeous sons. Jordie (our eldest son, who lost his fight to a terminal chronic connective tissue disease), Diffuse Systemic Scleroderma and Rhys (our youngest son, is now 21 yrs old). I became a full time carer/supporter for three cherished family members, my son, my Father in-law (whom we resided with for 20 years), and supported my Brother in-law, who all lost their fight to a terminal disease/illness. Currently I support my Sister in-law, who has ongoing health problems.

Why the Sunflower?

To raise awareness about the condition, Scleroderma Australia has adopted the sunflower as the national icon. The sunflower is symbolic, as, like the sunflower which turns towards the sun for warmth; people with scleroderma are usually more comfortable in warmer weather.

Hi, I saw one of your realisation with parchment paper on Pergamano website. It was a paper ball worked out with grid.
Can you tell me where to find a pattern of the ball please?

Hello Trina,
I am sure I will remember you if I saw you in person. My memory is sooo bad lol. Most of the time when one is demoing one doesn’t see a particular face unless something specific happens like the white pants covered in pinata inks. I think I wanted to hide that day, but as long as I couldn’t see it I was fine LOL.
