I would love some sunshine over here, it’s looks so gloomy outside without sunshine. For today….. I have a Gift Box project to share with you all. I have seen these made with a square box walls, I had an idea to try shaped box walls and wouldn’t you agree the end result looks quite elegant. I also made a lovely notebook to put inside it, I think it would be a gorgeous gift with some chocolates and a nice pen, or a gift card the same shape (just a tad smaller to fit inside it).
For the box and notebook shapes, I used Spellbinders – Grand Nestabilities/Labels four.
The designer paper is Kaisercraft – After Five Collection. The plain card for the box is Stampin’ Up! – Sahara Sand. I just used some scraps for the flowers and the Burgundy embossed strip on the Notebook.
For the notebook wire, I used 1/2″ wire and made the inner pages with some white copy paper. I trimmed the box base with Martha Stewart – Layered Arches/Edge Punch. I made the flowers and embellished the lid of the box.
I also applied some Rock Candy to the Sizzix – Sizzlits/Decorative Flourishes set, on top of the lid. The Burgundy strip on the notebook was embossed with Cuttlebug- Border Embossing folders/With Love.
